MANSORY Wraith II Carbon Body Programme — the post-2016-facelift fastback V12 GT coupé, Goodwood's last fixed-roof V12 Rolls-Royce before the Spectre EV closed the chapter

The Rolls-Royce Wraith is Goodwood's two-door V12 fastback coupé, launched in 2013 on the BMW 7-Series F01 architecture shared with the Ghost saloon and, from 2015, the Dawn drophead. The Mansory Wraith II programme is dimensioned against the post-2016-facelift geometry — the facelift brought a new front bumper graphic, revised LED matrix headlamps and the Black Badge trim debut in 2016, which raised output from 624 hp to 632 hp / 870 Nm and recalibrated the 8-speed ZF transmission. Production ran through 2023. The Spectre replaced the Wraith / Dawn slot in 2024 as a pure-EV coupé — making the Wraith the last fixed-roof V12 Rolls-Royce ever built, and the Wraith Black Badge the last Black Badge trim applied to a V12 donor before the nameplate migrated to the EV Spectre Black Badge.

Why the Wraith II carries a distinct Mansory SKU from the pre-facelift Wraith

The 2016 Wraith facelift revised the front bumper graphic, replaced the halogen headlamp option with LED matrix standard, and introduced Black Badge as a separate trim line with dark-chrome brightwork and an aggressive V12 calibration. Body panels are geometrically different enough from pre-facelift (2013-2015) Wraith that the Mansory front bumper SKU was re-tooled for the facelift geometry. The pre-facelift Mansory Wraith programme remains the tooling for 2013-2015 cars; the Wraith II programme here covers 2016-2023 production including all Black Badge and collector's-edition runs.

Wraith II parts catalogue

  • Front bumper — full carbon replacement bumper dimensioned specifically against post-facelift 2016+ geometry with LED matrix headlamp surround preserved; Black Badge dark-chrome Pantheon grille frame retained
  • Carbon bonnet — long-bonnet carbon replacement preserving the factory Spirit of Ecstasy retractable-mascot housing
  • Front fender air-extractor vents — carbon bezels
  • Side skirts — carbon rocker extensions along the Wraith's elongated two-door wheelbase
  • Mirror caps — dry-carbon pair
  • Rear bumper with diffuser — carbon rear bumper with integrated diffuser surround and twin oval exhaust bezel
  • Boot-lid lip spoiler — carbon duck-tail preserving the Wraith's fastback silhouette
  • Rear-quarter window-frame carbon accent — optional trim on the C-pillar glass surround
  • Suicide-door handle carbon inserts — on the factory rear-hinged door handles

Material: PU-RIM with visible carbon weave as standard; full dry-carbon upgrade available. Install runs five to six shop days. The programme preserves factory suicide-door hinging mechanism, factory Starlight Headliner wiring, factory Spirit of Ecstasy retractable-mascot function, and factory satellite-aided 8-speed ZF transmission function.

N74 V12 — the Wraith's drivetrain identity

The Wraith runs the BMW N74 6.6-litre twin-turbo V12 — the longer-stroke Rolls-Royce-specific version of the N74 family. Output: 624 hp at 5,600 rpm / 800 Nm from 1,500-5,500 rpm on base Wraith, 632 hp / 870 Nm on Black Badge Wraith with recalibrated 8-speed ZF transmission mapping and sharper throttle response. The V12 is paired with Rolls-Royce's satellite-aided transmission (GPS-informed gear pre-selection). Kerb weight 2,440 kg on base, 2,435 kg on Black Badge. The Mansory Wraith II programme is bodywork only. Mansory N74 stage-1 tune is available as separate workshop SKU (raises output to approximately 700 hp) but is specified on fewer than 10% of Wraith commissions — the GT cabin and waftline drivability character are the buyer priority rather than peak-output uplift.

22" forged — Wraith wheel upsize

Factory Wraith ships on 20" (base) or 21" (Black Badge standard) wheels. Mansory's forged offering is 22" as standard Wraith II commission choice. The Wraith's air-spring suspension accommodates the 22" upsize cleanly. Tyre spec: Continental SportContact, Michelin Pilot Sport, Pirelli P Zero with run-flat configuration. Full forged-wheel range at Hodoor forged wheels.

Geography — V12 fastback-coupé enthusiast corridor

The Wraith II Mansory commission book is concentrated in V12-coupé-enthusiast markets with active Rolls-Royce collector-community presence:

Gulf royal-household corridor. UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait. Gulf Wraith II commissions are Black Badge-dominant (approximately 70% of Gulf Wraith commissions specify Black Badge trim) and typically pair with Phantom VIII in the same royal-household fleet. Year-round use (garage-to-garage air-conditioned mobility).

UK home-market / London collector-garage. Mayfair, Knightsbridge, Chelsea, Surrey belt, Oxfordshire country-estate. UK Wraith commissions skew toward restrained spec — carbon bonnet, mirror caps, boot-lid lip only — preserving factory Goodwood identity. Wraith II has the strongest UK residual-value trajectory in the Mansory Rolls-Royce book.

USA — South Florida, SoCal, NYC. USA Wraith commissions concentrate in LA / Beverly Hills (year-round), Miami / Palm Beach (November-through-May high season) and NYC-metro. US commissions lean Black Badge and specify full Wraith II kit with 22" forged.

Asia / CIS. China (Beijing, Shanghai), Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Thailand. Chinese Wraith commissions bias heavily toward Black Badge with visible-weave carbon. Russia / CIS Wraith commissions route through the Tsar programme.

Sister Mansory Rolls-Royce builds

The Wraith II programme sits alongside the pre-facelift Wraith 2013-2015 programme (dedicated pre-facelift SKU), the Dawn drophead (open-top sister on same F01 architecture), the Ghost saloon, the Spectre (EV successor to both Wraith and Dawn), the Phantom VIII and the Cullinan SUV.

FAQ

Which model years does Wraith II cover?
2016-2023 production (post-facelift). Pre-facelift 2013-2015 Wraith commissions go through a dedicated pre-facelift SKU — the front bumper tooling differs between the two generations and pre-facelift geometry does not physically accept the Wraith II front bumper.

Does the kit fit both standard Wraith and Black Badge Wraith?
Yes. Black Badge differs from base Wraith by trim (dark-chrome Pantheon grille frame, dark-chrome Spirit of Ecstasy), transmission calibration and V12 output spec (632 vs 624 hp). Body panels are geometrically identical. Mansory Wraith II front bumper, bonnet, skirts and rear diffuser fit both trims without SKU split. Black Badge dark-chrome trim is preserved with the Mansory kit installed.

Are the factory suicide doors preserved?
Yes. Factory rear-hinged coach-door hinges, factory door-closing mechanism (motorised close-from-interior-button on the A-pillar), factory door-open angle and factory soft-close function are all preserved. Mansory side-skirt rocker extension is dimensioned to clear the factory door-swing arc.

Is the Wraith the last V12 Rolls-Royce coupé?
Yes at the production line-up through 2024. Wraith production ended 2023; the Spectre that replaced the Wraith / Dawn slot is a fixed-roof EV coupé with dual-motor drivetrain rather than a V12 ICE. Goodwood has not announced a V12-era coupé successor. Wraith Black Badge final-model-year residual values through 2024-2026 track the collector-market trajectory of end-of-line V12 Rolls-Royces.

Is the Spirit of Ecstasy retractable mascot preserved?
Yes. The Mansory carbon bonnet carries the factory retractable-mascot housing cutout and wiring pass-through. Electric retraction continues at factory function; the mascot is replaced by an owner-specified Spirit of Ecstasy variant (illuminated, frosted, gold, or bespoke commissioning pattern) if requested.
