MANSORY CYRUS — the 15-Car Limited Series That Redefined What Mansory Could Do to an Aston Martin VH-Platform Grand Tourer

The Mansory Cyrus is the most structurally ambitious Aston Martin conversion Mansory has ever executed and remains the only Mansory Aston programme issued as a strictly-numbered limited edition15 cars worldwide, each with an individual build number plaque, a unique VIN-matched component set and a corresponding entry in Mansory's Brand, Bavaria, archive. The donor scope is the Aston Martin VH architecture family, specifically the DBS (produced 2007-2012) and the DB9 (2004-2016 including the post-2012 facelift), both Coupé and Volante convertible bodies. The Cyrus programme covers a complete widebody carbon transformation, an engine reflash lifting the factory 6.0-litre V12 from the standard 470-517 hp up to approximately 700 hp, along with full interior retrim and Mansory forged wheels. The programme's scarcity and age now give the Cyrus a quiet collector status among Mansory portfolios.

The 15-commission framework and why it was capped

Cyrus was designed as an answer to the market gap between the factory DBS / DB9 and the Vanquish successor programme, for owners wanting a truly coach-built iteration of the VH-era V12 Aston. Mansory's decision to cap production at 15 reflects a combination of three factors: the sheer labour intensity of the carbon bodywork (each car required six-to-eight weeks of hand-trim fitting beyond standard Mansory timelines); the limited donor pool of DBS/DB9 cars in excellent cosmetic and structural condition; and the deliberate positioning of Cyrus as a coach-built Mansory rather than a catalogue conversion. The programme has been closed to new orders for several years; remaining build slots on the original 15-car framework are occasionally released when an existing build defaults. Please enquire for current availability.

Cyrus carbon body components

Full Cyrus carbon programme: replacement carbon front bumper with enlarged lower intakes, integrated three-piece splitter and functional brake-cooling ducts; carbon bonnet with functional extraction vents for V12 heat rejection; carbon front fender extensions (bonded arch wideners) adding approximately 30 mm per side; carbon rear fender extensions matching; carbon side skirts with integrated rocker extractors; replacement carbon rear bumper with aggressive diffuser and quad-exit exhaust bezels; carbon boot spoiler; carbon rear-pillar air-intake panels; carbon door mirror housings; optional carbon roof panel (Coupé only). All carbon parts are pre-preg autoclave-cured and finished in 2K gloss clear-coat or raw-weave on customer request. For Volante donors, the soft-top mechanism is retained unchanged; rear fender geometry is adapted to clear the soft-top compartment.

Cyrus engineering brief — donor data and tuning

Donor eligibility: Aston Martin DBS (2007-2012, 5.9 L V12, 510-517 hp) and Aston Martin DB9 (2004-2016, 5.9 L V12, 450-510 hp across pre-facelift / facelift), Coupé and Volante. Engine: AM11 naturally-aspirated 5.935 L 48-valve V12. Mansory Cyrus tune raises output to ≈700 hp and 760 Nm via re-calibrated ECU, enlarged throttle bodies, high-flow intake manifolds, Mansory high-flow stainless-steel sports exhaust with modulated valves, and uprated radiators. Transmission: Touchtronic 2 / 3 six-speed ZF automatic (DB9) or six-speed manual / Touchtronic (DBS). Chassis: VH aluminium bonded monocoque with aluminium-alloy front subframe and steel rear subframe. Factory dimensions: 4 710 mm length / 1 875 mm width — Cyrus widebody adds roughly 60 mm total width. Kerb weight: ~1 695 kg (DBS Coupé) / 1 890 kg (Volante). 0-100 km/h factory 4.3 s; with Cyrus tune ≈3.9 s. Top speed factory 307 km/h (DBS); Cyrus ≈320 km/h with appropriate tyre spec.

Forged wheels for Cyrus

Cyrus factory wheel allocation: bespoke Mansory forged 21" (front 9J) / 22" (rear 11J) staggered. Patterns used on Cyrus originals: FM.3 multi-spoke forged, S.7 split-seven, Y.4 forked-Y, with optional CM.1 turbine-fan design. Finishes: matte-gunmetal, satin-black, satin-bronze, full-polished, or paint-to-sample Aston Martin Q-customisation colour codes. Tyre fitment: 245/30 R21 front / 305/25 R22 rear. Catalogue: hodoor.world/collection/forgedwheels.

Cyrus delivery footprint

The original 15 Cyrus builds were delivered predominantly to collectors in the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Switzerland and continental Europe, with individual cars commissioned in Monaco, Japan and Hong Kong. Current availability for replicas or refurbishments is supported to the full Mansory distribution network: United Kingdom, UAE, Switzerland, Monaco, Japan, Hong Kong, Qatar, Saudi Arabia. Ships also to Austria, Netherlands, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Malta, Croatia, Turkey, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, South Africa, Nigeria, Morocco, South Korea, China.

Other Mansory Aston Martin programmes

Beyond Cyrus, Mansory's Aston Martin programme family on hodoor.world includes: Aston Martin Vantage Mansory carbon, Aston Martin Rapide (four-door VH-generation saloon), Aston Martin DBX (the first Aston SUV) Mansory upgrade. The Cyrus sits at the top of the Aston hierarchy as the limited-series flagship; the DBX programme is the volume current-generation offering.

How to commission

Because Cyrus is a numbered limited build, commissioning requires: current availability confirmation, Aston Martin VH-platform donor VIN (DBS or DB9, Coupé or Volante), factory condition report, intended wheel and paint specification, interior-retrim scope, and destination country. Mansory reviews each Cyrus application on a case-by-case basis. Contact: +44 7488 818747 (WhatsApp) or [email protected].

Common owner questions

Is the Mansory Cyrus still available to order? The original 15-car framework is closed; occasional build slots reopen via defaults. Availability confirmed on direct enquiry.

Does Cyrus support the Volante (convertible) donor? Yes — DB9 Volante and DBS Volante are both eligible; rear-fender geometry is adapted for the soft-top mechanism.

Will the ~700 hp tune stress the AM11 V12 long-term? Mansory's calibration remains within the AM11's rotating-assembly safety envelope (factory AM11 engines have been tested to 750+ hp on stock internals). Routine service intervals are recommended.

Is the DB9 facelift (2013+) supported? Yes — facelift DB9 donors with revised headlamps and bumpers are supported with an adapted front-fascia component set.

Can the Aston Martin AMR track-spec cars be converted? No — AMR-spec donors are outside the Cyrus framework due to their chassis-specific geometry. Only standard DBS and DB9 (Coupé / Volante) are eligible.

What is a typical Cyrus build timeline? Approximately 6-8 months (carbon production, engine tune and interior) plus 3-4 weeks on-site installation at authorised workshop.

Is the programme reversible? Partially — the engine tune is reversible; the widebody carbon is bonded and considered permanent. Factory-look return is therefore not a standard option.
